Example recording entry screen. Preview is a layout check; saved answers, attachments, and completion require separate tests.
  2. Check Mark Optional and Maximum Duration in Question options. Tell respondents they may need browser camera and microphone permissions.
Current video options from a synthetic development form. Review the controls offered for your selected question.
  3. Test a short synthetic recording, playback, replacement, and final submission on your target devices.
This is the recording entry screen. Recording, permission denial, playback, and saved attachments require separate tests.
  4. Open Results and confirm that the intended completed response has a playable recording.

Check before you rely on it

Use a supported HTTPS respondent page for browser media access. Respect privacy when asking people to record themselves.

If you need help

If a recording is missing, collect browser and time details without asking respondents to send private video through an unapproved channel.

Contact support with the relevant screen, time, and a redacted description. Keep credentials and private respondent information out of screenshots.
