Check form completion and status
A completed response and a form closed to new responses are different states.
Select a screenshot to enlarge it.
Steps
- To verify a respondent finished, open Results and inspect that response’s completion status after the final submission action.
Controls such as Hide progress bar use negative wording. Check the switch against the actual preview. - To stop collecting new responses, inspect Design → More settings → Access and Scheduling → Close form for new responses.
- After an intentional close, test a fresh respondent visit and verify the form’s collection state. Do not close a live campaign just to test the control.
Choose Mobile below the preview to inspect a narrow layout. Also test the complete form on an actual phone.
Check before you rely on it
An old instruction labelled “Mark completed” must not be treated as proof that a respondent record was submitted.
If you need help
Check the intended state before changing scheduling or response limits. Existing results and new collection serve different purposes.
Contact support with the relevant screen, time, and a redacted description. Keep credentials and private respondent information out of screenshots.
