Steps

  1. Preview the form’s complete path and identify the final submission action rather than assuming every Next button submits.
  2. Use Design → More settings → Messages to inspect the available system button and confirmation wording.
Review the system labels separately from question text and answer choices.
A confirmation message is separate from proof that the final response was saved. Verify completion in Results.
  3. Test every branch that can reach an ending, including a required unanswered question and a corrected answer.
  4. Complete a synthetic response through the intended respondent link and verify its completion status in Results.

Check before you rely on it

An ending screen, a redirect, and a persisted completed response are different signals. Verify the response record.

If you need help

If the final action does not produce a completed record, report the path and time before distributing the form.

Contact support with the relevant screen, time, and a redacted description. Keep credentials and private respondent information out of screenshots.
