What are audio and video questions?
They let respondents answer a form question with a voice or video recording. Audio captures their words and tone; video adds facial expressions and visual context. This is different from adding a video for someone to watch.
Can I combine voice answers with other question types?
Yes. RapidoForm offers Audio + Selection, Audio + Image, Audio + Text, Audio + Rating, and Audio + Ranking. Pair a structured answer with a spoken explanation, or use standalone Audio and Video questions.
Do respondents need to install an app?
Recording happens in a supported browser with microphone access, and camera access for video. Test your form on the devices your audience uses, and offer an alternative when recording is unavailable.
Can I control the length of a video answer?
The Video question includes a Maximum Duration setting and an option to make the question optional. Configure the available controls in the builder, then preview and test your form before sharing it.
Is the demo recording saved or sent anywhere?
No. This page’s 30-second recorder is a private, browser-only demo. You can replay or discard your recording. It is not uploaded to RapidoForm and disappears when you leave or refresh the page. In a published form, submitting an answer is a separate step.
